About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team at WRN Health Incorporated in Davao City, Davao del Sur. As a full-time Civil Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development and execution of various infrastructure projects for our growing healthcare business.

What you'll be doing

  • Conducting site assessments, soil testing and surveys to determine project feasibility and requirements
  • Designing and drafting construction plans, blueprints and technical specifications for buildings, roads, bridges and other infrastructure
  • Overseeing the construction process to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including architects, project managers and construction workers, to resolve issues and optimize project outcomes
  • Ensuring all work complies with relevant building codes, safety regulations and environmental standards
  • Preparing detailed reports, cost estimates and project documentation
  • Providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers and construction staff

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Professional Engineers licence/registration with PRC required at application
  • At least 1 year of post-graduate experience in civil/structural engineering, preferably in the healthcare or construction industry
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, structural analysis software, and project management tools
  • Proficiency in STAAD Pro structural analysis software is required
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with diverse teams
  • Thorough understanding of building codes, safety regulations and environmental standards
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
