Position: Operations Manager

Work Setup: Mon to Saturday - Onsite

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and improving the company's end-to-end operational processes for packaging materials and machinery. This role ensures production, warehousing, logistics, and service operations run smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance with quality and safety standards. The Operations Manager will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate with other departments, and initiate procurement actions to maintain optimal stock levels, ensuring timely fulfillment of client requirements and operational continuity.

Job Description:

Production & Warehouse Operations

• Plan, organize, and oversee daily operations to meet delivery schedules and quality standards.
• Manage warehouse storage, inventory accuracy, and stock movement for packaging supplies and machinery.
• Initiate ordering of stocks by coordinating with the procurement team based on inventory levels, upcoming orders, and sales forecasts.
• Implement efficient layout, storage, and handling systems to reduce errors and losses.

Logistics & Delivery

• Plan and monitor delivery schedules for packaging and machines to meet customer timelines.
• Coordinate with logistics partners for cost-effective and reliable delivery solutions.
• Ensure documentation (delivery receipts, inventory logs) is accurate and complete.

Quality & Compliance

• Enforce quality control standards for all packaging materials and equipment before dispatch.
• Ensure compliance with applicable product and safety regulations.
• Address client quality concerns promptly and coordinate corrective actions.

Client Service Support

• Coordinate with Sales and Account Management teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
• Support after-sales service scheduling for machines in coordination with the Technical Team.
• Resolve operational issues that may affect client satisfaction.

Cross-Departmental Support

• Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Technical teams to ensure operational alignment.
• Provide operational insights to assist in planning promotions, client proposals, and sales strategies.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure production and delivery plans align with overall business objectives.

People Management

• Supervise and guide warehouse, production, and logistics staff.
• Set performance expectations, monitor outputs, and provide training where needed.
• Foster a culture of safety, efficiency, and teamwork.
• Promote and maintain a safe working environment by ensuring departmental operations follow company safety guidelines and applicable regulations.

Continuous Improvement & Reporting

• Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and cost efficiency.
• Monitor KPIs such as order fulfillment rate, on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and cost efficiency.
• Prepare operational reports for management review.
• Perform other related duties to support operational needs.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in operations, warehouse, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing, packaging, or machinery distribution.
• Proven leadership experience in managing multi-functional operational teams.
• Strong background in process optimization, inventory management, and logistics planning.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Proficient in using inventory management systems.
• Knowledge of safety standards, quality systems, and regulatory compliance.

Other Requirements:

• Willing to work onsite in San Pedro, Laguna.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php35,000.00 per month

• San Pedro A: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
