Job Overview

About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a People Operations Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have a passion for HR and People Experience, excellent organizational skills, and a strong customer service orientation.

The successful candidate will support the HR function by assisting with various people operations activities and ensuring the smooth execution of HR processes. This includes working with the People team to deliver an empathic and customer service-focused experience for everyone at Deputy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the full employee lifecycle, including pre-boarding, onboarding, offboarding, leave administration, employee change requests, and maintaining personnel records.
  • Provide support to employee questions and inquiries, delivering high-level customer service and exploring opportunities to innovate and advance our People Operations backbone.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is desired.
  • 3–5 years of experience in HR administration or a similar role.
  • Knowledge of Australian employment laws and regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and HRIS software; experience with Rippling or similar HRIS platforms is preferred.
