ERP Operations Specialist

Take the first step in optimizing order management processes for a leading manufacturer of flexible packaging solutions.

This is an independent contractor position, requiring you to work closely with production, logistics, and sales teams to ensure seamless operations across orders and suggest improvements in workflow where needed.

A collaborative role that demands attention to detail and strong organizational skills, as well as proficiency in ERP systems like SAP, NetSuite, or Oracle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Input, manage, and track customer orders within the company's ERP system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all entries.
  • Coordinate order status and changes with relevant departments, maintaining open communication channels to prevent delays or issues.
  • Monitor production timelines and proactively flag potential problems or inefficiencies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records of orders and shipments, facilitating efficient tracking and analysis.
  • Support internal communication to ensure alignment across teams on fulfillment timelines, fostering a culture of collaboration and transparency.
  • Identify recurring process issues and develop effective solutions to improve order flow and overall operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with U.S.-based colleagues during EST working hours to achieve shared goals.
Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within manufacturing or packaging environments.
  • Strong technical expertise in ERP systems, including SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, enabling seamless collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • High degree of attention to detail and organizational abilities, allowing for efficient task management and priority setting.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Comfort working U.S. hours (EST) in a remote setting, with minimal supervision required.
Desirable Qualities
  • Experience in the flexible packaging industry, providing valuable insights into market trends and operational best practices.
  • Familiarity with U.S.-based manufacturing or supply chain processes, enhancing understanding of domestic market requirements.
  • Prior experience working with remote or international teams, promoting cultural awareness and adaptability.
  • Background in process improvement or operations analysis, offering a unique perspective on optimizing business processes.
Job Details
  • Flexible compensation structure based on experience.
  • Standard work schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM EST or 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Night shift PHT).
  • Independent Contractor employment type.
