Job Title: Sales Operations Specialist, Order Management

About the Job

This role involves processing customer orders and placing them with vendors within agreed-upon service levels. It offers an opportunity to become a subject matter expert in order entry, pricing management, and purchasing, with potential to support offices across different regions.

You will be responsible for maintaining excellent customer service, ensuring timely delivery of goods from vendors to sites, creating sales orders, pricing agreements, and purchase orders, and applying pricing, gross profit, discounts, and margin calculations.

The ideal candidate will have experience in order processing and management, including pricing and purchase order creation, strong time management and organizational skills, ability to work across different offices and time zones, and excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities
  • Process customer orders and place them with vendors within agreed-upon service levels.
  • Maintain excellent customer service and ensure timely delivery of goods from vendors to sites.
  • Create sales orders, pricing agreements, and purchase orders.
  • Apply pricing, gross profit, discounts, and margin calculations.
  • Use vendor portals and tools to place orders with vendors in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with internal teams to process orders and manage multiple inboxes for information.
  • Undertake continual training to maintain strong knowledge of vendors and technologies.
  • Ensure punctuality to all internal and external meetings.
Requirements
  • Experience in order processing and management, including pricing and purchase order creation.
  • Strong time management, organizational skills, and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work across different offices and time zones.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
