
Sales Director

We are seeking an experienced Partner Sales Director to work closely with Global System Integrators (GSI) throughout their sales cycles and across their sales organizations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for building trusted relationships with partners, increasing market share, and evangelizing about the partnership.
- Strategic relationship-building with GSI partners at various levels, focusing on stickiness with our technology
- Deep understanding of Linux, cloud software ecosystem, and open-source selling models
- Negotiation of contracts and commercial business terms
- Understanding of partner organizations and sales models, particularly with GSIs
- Collaboration with marketing, sales engineering, and product management teams to deliver targets and objectives while providing a voice for partners
- Leading executive interlocks between partners and our leadership team members
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in alliance or indirect sales management roles, as well as knowledge of OpenStack, virtualization, containers, and other cloud technologies. They should be autonomous, disciplined, hands-on, and comfortable in fast-paced environments with ambitious achievement goals.
