Senior Financial Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled General Ledger Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in general ledger accounting, strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Key Responsibilities:- Optimize financial processes by ensuring timely and accurate journal entries, month-end reconciliations, and vendor payments.
- Streamline accounting workflows and automate processes within our financial systems.
- Record and maintain accurate journal entries, adhering to US GAAP guidelines.
- Oversee accounts payable processes, guaranteeing timely and accurate vendor payments.
- Accurately record and reconcile all cash and credit card transactions.
- Identify inefficiencies and implement best practices to enhance financial operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in general ledger accounting.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting.
- Extensive experience with our financial systems and a proven track record of closing books for a US-based entity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).
The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently to drive process improvements.
This role will focus on enhancing back-office processes and automation efforts, while collaborating closely with internal stakeholders to support financial decision-making.
