Financial Operations Specialist

The ideal candidate will oversee the company's financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance. The position requires a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with at least 5 years of experience in General Ledger accounting and proficiency in Xero.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and manage the general ledger, ensuring timely and accurate postings.
  • Perform regular reconciliations and closing processes to ensure financial integrity.
  • Prepare financial reports including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure adherence to local and international financial reporting standards.
  • Handle audits and maintain compliant financial records.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and tax authorities as needed.
  • Provide financial insights to support business decision-making.
  • Develop and improve accounting processes and internal controls.
  • Manage the accounting software (Xero) and integrate it with other business tools.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in General Ledger accounting.
  • Proven experience with Xero accounting software.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
  • Strong communication skills for internal and external stakeholder interactions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.
  • Experience in a data-driven environment is a plus.
