Job Summary

This role will be responsible for nurturing partnerships with local churches, promoting child protection and empowering communities to improve the lives of children and youth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote awareness about children's needs and prioritize child protection.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to serve, respect, and empower the church.
  • Strengthen church ownership and capacity through developmental approaches.
  • Facilitate reflection and planning with church partners to grow in capacity and maturity.
  • Support church strategies to engage parents, caregivers, children, and youth.
  • Work with church leaders to identify capacity development needs.
  • Support the church throughout all phases of the program cycle: Needs Assessment, Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation.
  • Coordinate support to each church partner, tailoring facilitation plans to individual needs.
  • Oversee cluster operations, fostering relationships and collaboration among churches.
  • Facilitate church partner adoption of child protection standards and manage incident reporting.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Social Sciences, or related fields.
  • Resident of Masbate or Sorsogon, or nearby provinces, with strong local community ties.
  • Minimum 5 years in community development or partnership management.
  • Experience in program cycle management for WASH, Education, and Livelihood projects.
  • Proficient in report writing and impact assessment.
  • Experience in financial management, facilitation, and liaising.
  • Ability to develop networks and mobilize resources.
  • Active member of a local church, passionate about serving children and churches.
Travel Requirements

Up to 50% travel may be required.
