Facilitate Partnership Growth

This role is focused on building and maintaining partnerships with local churches to support the development of children and youth.

The ideal candidate will have experience in community development, partnership management, and program cycle management. They should also possess strong facilitation skills, including report writing, impact assessment, and financial management.

  • Promote awareness about children's needs and prioritize child protection.
  • Develop relationships with church partners and facilitate reflection and planning to grow their capacity and maturity.
  • Support church strategies to engage parents, caregivers, children, and youth.
  • Work with pastors and church staff to identify capacity development needs.
Key Responsibilities

Child Protection

  • Report concerns of abuse or neglect.

Church Partnership

  • Strengthen church ownership and capacity through developmental approaches.
  • Facilitate partner relationships through the Partner Management core process.

Program Cycle Management

  • Coordinate support to each church partner, tailoring facilitation plans to individual needs.
  • Oversee cluster operations, fostering relationships and collaboration among churches.
Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Social Sciences, or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years in community development or partnership management.

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong facilitation skills, including report writing and impact assessment.
  • Experience in financial management, liaison work, and network development.

Personal Qualities

  • Active member of a local church, passionate about serving children and churches.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% for this role.
