Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the team through effective delegation of tasks and responsibilities, driving quality and efficiency in all areas.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, compensations, hiring, disciplinary actions, and terminations of team members, as well as determine staffing needs based on business requirements.
  • Monitor team results, contributing to resource planning, budget management, and procedure formulation, and develop new techniques and models within the area of expertise.
  • Foster alignment of the operations support infrastructure through focused technologies and processes, providing evaluative judgment based on analysis of information and in-depth knowledge of policies and procedures in complex situations.
  • Operate with minimal direct supervision, exercising independence of judgment and autonomy, and act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to senior stakeholders and/or other team members.
  • Manage teams effectively, avoiding risks when making business decisions and considering the firm's reputation and safeguarding its clients and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 8-10 years of experience managing a team, with business-level Japanese speaking skills and ability to work independently, adjust priorities quickly, and manage deadlines or unexpected changes.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented individual with proven organization and time management skills, demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills, and clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience, with strong analytical skills and experience in analyzing business requirements, developing test plans, and discrepancy resolution.
