The primary role of this position is to oversee a team of employees, ensuring seamless operations support services in alignment with the organization's infrastructure and processes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the team through effective delegation of tasks and responsibilities, driving quality and efficiency in all areas.
- Conduct performance evaluations, compensations, hiring, disciplinary actions, and terminations of team members, as well as determine staffing needs based on business requirements.
- Monitor team results, contributing to resource planning, budget management, and procedure formulation, and develop new techniques and models within the area of expertise.
- Foster alignment of the operations support infrastructure through focused technologies and processes, providing evaluative judgment based on analysis of information and in-depth knowledge of policies and procedures in complex situations.
- Operate with minimal direct supervision, exercising independence of judgment and autonomy, and act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to senior stakeholders and/or other team members.
- Manage teams effectively, avoiding risks when making business decisions and considering the firm's reputation and safeguarding its clients and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
- A minimum of 8-10 years of experience managing a team, with business-level Japanese speaking skills and ability to work independently, adjust priorities quickly, and manage deadlines or unexpected changes.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented individual with proven organization and time management skills, demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills, and clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience, with strong analytical skills and experience in analyzing business requirements, developing test plans, and discrepancy resolution.
