Job Title

The Sales Compensation Analyst plays a pivotal role in owning and overseeing data, processes, and controls to ensure the accuracy of bonus and commission programs.

This position supports monthly and quarterly commissions and bonus calculations for all business segments, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate and timely compensation.

The analyst leads the preparation and maintenance of the quarterly compensation workbook, oversees the company-wide compensation process, and prepares and submits monthly incentives and bonus calculation files.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Independently lead the preparation and maintenance of the quarterly compensation workbook, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Drive continuous improvements and efficiencies in the end-to-end company-wide compensation process.
  • Prepare and submit monthly incentives and bonus calculation files, reviewing and maintaining relevant data needed for accurate calculations in the compensation system.

Requirements:

  • Creates complex spreadsheets, formulas, pivot tables, and data visualizations in Microsoft Excel with precision and efficiency.
  • Maintains exceptional attention to detail, staying organized while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Engages and communicates effectively with senior leaders and executives.

Bonus and Commission Expertise

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance or accounting, with a minimum of four years of experience in sales compensation or a related role. They should be proficient in creating complex financial models and possess excellent analytical skills.

Candidates with experience in data analysis, financial planning, and strategic decision-making will be highly valued. They should also be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
