Compensation Manager

The Compensation Manager is a pivotal role within the organization, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day compensation function. This includes designing, implementing, and monitoring compensation programs to ensure consistency and compliance with internal policies.

  • Develop and execute strategies for managing compensation programs, including job/salary movements, retirement and separation plans, allowance plans, etc.
  • Evaluate internal salary structures and provide input on development, alignment, and benchmarking with external organizations and best practices.
  • Initiate market compensation studies and monitor salary survey data to ensure corporate compensation objectives are achieved.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of compensation programs, policies, and procedures, as well as strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. They will also possess excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to demonstrate discretion and confidentiality.

The Compensation Manager will work closely with internal stakeholders to collaborate on compensation-related matters. They will lead and supervise the performance and service delivery of team members and perform regular reviews to update compensation policy documents and ensure compliance with existing processes and legislation.

This is a senior-level position that requires at least 5-7 years of experience managing compensation functions. The successful candidate will be proficient in MS Office applications, especially MS Excel, and will have a solid understanding of labor laws and regulations.

The Compensation Manager will report directly to the Director - Compensation & Benefits and will be part of a dynamic team that drives business growth and success.
