
HR Specialist – Compensation

About the Role:
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented HR Specialist - Compensation & Benefits to manage our company's payroll, benefits administration, and employee rewards programs. This role ensures accurate and timely compensation processes, compliance with labor laws, and competitive benefits that support employee satisfaction and retention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and government regulations
- Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, leave administration, and other statutory benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG)
- Maintain up-to-date employee compensation and benefits records in the HRIS system
- Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws, DOLE regulations, and tax requirements
- Coordinate with finance for salary disbursement and benefits reimbursements
- Assist in compensation benchmarking and salary structure reviews to maintain market competitiveness
- Handle inquiries and concerns from employees related to pay, benefits, and deductions
- Prepare reports and analytics on payroll, benefits utilization, and other C&B metrics for management review
- Support HR projects related to employee engagement and retention
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in HR, with a focus on compensation and benefits
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes, labor laws, and government-mandated benefits
- Proficient in HRIS, payroll systems, and MS Office (Excel is a must)
- High attention to detail, confidentiality, and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
