Accounting Controller Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced accounting professional to join our team as an Accounting Controller. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of financial operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with experience in process improvement and cost savings. You will be responsible for implementing new software tools to improve accuracy and process scalability, as well as developing automated processes for payroll, expense reporting, and tax filings.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support business decision-making.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and implement scalable financial systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
  • Experience: 5+ years in accounting with 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • Skills: Proven track record in process improvement and cost savings, experience in eCommerce or retail is a strong advantage.
