Staff Accounting Role

This is a key role within our finance team, where you will oversee the management of our accounting operations. Your responsibilities will include supervising accountants and junior analysts, reviewing financial data, and creating timely and accurate accounting reports for senior management.

  • We are looking for a highly skilled Staff Accountant who has a strong understanding of accounting principles and experience in managing accounts payable and receivable.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze financial reports and forecasts to make informed decisions.
  • You will work closely with our finance team to optimize our accounting systems and procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP requirements.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Supervise general accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably as a Financial Controller or Chief Accountant
  • A strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with attention to detail
  • Familiarity with accounting software packages, such as QuickBooks
  • A BS degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent certification
