Financial Operations Coordinator Role

Amped HQ is a shared services organization providing administrative and accounting support to ensure smooth financial operations. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Operations Coordinator to support our growing finance team.

Responsibilities:
  • Finance & Accounting Support
    • Provide day-to-day accounting and administrative support to the Head of Finance.
    • Assist with monthly management reports, including analysis and commentary.
    • Support offshore teams with supplier invoice processing and reconciliations.
    • Maintain and monitor fixed asset registers.
    • Assist with journal entries to ensure financial record accuracy.
    • Prepare and journal weekly payroll.
  • Month-End & Year-End Processes
    • Assist offshore teams in month-end and year-end close processes.
    • Prepare supporting reconciliations and documentation.
    • Assist in producing management accounts for leadership teams.
  • Reporting & Analysis
    • Help prepare clear, concise, and meaningful financial reports to support decision-making.
  • Administrative Support
    • Manage finance inboxes and respond to queries in a timely manner.
    • Handle supplier setup and process local invoice payments.
    • Process sales reimbursements and company expense claims.
    • Maintain vehicle compliance requirements.
    • Update daily cashbooks to ensure accurate cash flow records.
  • Ad Hoc Support
    • Provide additional assistance on finance projects and other administrative tasks as required.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of solid accounting experience, including multi-entity accounting.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and across multiple entities.
  • Comfortable operating in a global environment with different currencies and time zones.
  • Exceptional English communication skills (written and verbal); prior global exposure valued.
  • Team management and leadership experience is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite is ideal.
  • Proficiency in payroll processing and awareness of current AI/automation trends in finance.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A valid CPA license is a plus.
