Job Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive specialist to support our finance operations in a remote role.

This position is perfect for a self-starter with strong skills in QuickBooks and Excel, and a solid understanding of month-end close processes and basic tax compliance.

You will be responsible for processing invoices, managing bills in QuickBooks Online, and maintaining accurate vendor records.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing 10–15 invoices during the first week of each month
  • Handling ~5 invoices weekly for the remainder of the month
  • Ensuring invoices are coded accurately, approved, and entered in a timely manner
  • Recording and managing bills in QuickBooks Online
  • Managing payment scheduling and maintaining accurate vendor records
  • Assisting with expense management platform (e.g., tracking transactions, managing approvals)
  • Performing accrual processing and ensuring all AP transactions are properly recorded
  • Pulling data from QuickBooks and Excel for reporting as needed

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Strong experience with QuickBooks Online
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formatting, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of Accounts Payable, month-end closing, and accrual accounting
  • Familiarity with U.S. tax compliance, including W-9 handling and state-by-state AP/tax requirements

Nice to have qualifications include:

  • Experience with expense management platforms
  • Prior experience handling AP and compliance across multiple U.S. states
