We are seeking a highly skilled bookkeeper to join our team. As a bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing and streamlining accounts payable processes for multiple companies. Key Responsibilities:- Accounts Payable Management: Manage and streamline accounts payable processes for both companies.
- Audit and Record Vendor Invoices: Audit, process, verify, and record vendor invoices in QuickBooks.
- Intercompany Transactions: Coordinate intercompany transactions between mechanical and transport divisions.
- Tracking Systems: Implement and maintain tracking systems for vendor payments.
- Documentation: Collaborate with the service writer to ensure proper documentation.
- Financial Reconciliation: Reconcile financial records to avoid payment delays.
- Improved Financial Workflows: Develop and document improved financial workflows.
- Reports Generation: Generate regular accounts payable and vendor reports.
- Digital Records: Maintain accurate digital financial records.
- Vendor and Customer Lists: Maintain updated vendor and customer contact lists.
- Quarterly Meetings and Budget Reviews: Assist in organizing quarterly meetings and budget reviews.
- Folders Organization: Keep digital folders structured and ensure financial reports are saved in the shared drive.
- Minimum Experience: Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience with North American clients.
- QuickBooks Proficiency: Advanced QuickBooks proficiency.
- Multi-Company Accounting Operations: Experience managing multi-company accounting operations.
- Accounts Payable Practices: Strong knowledge of accounts payable practices.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal English communication.
- Process Improvement: Proven ability to improve processes and document systems.
- Organizational and Time Management Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills.
