
Patient Account Services Representative

Patient Accounts Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of billing, collections, and patient account management processes.
About This RoleThis position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills to address patient inquiries, resolve billing discrepancies, and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing daily reports of pending patient statements for accuracy, communicating directly with front office staff to resolve discrepancies, and documenting all communications with patients in the NextGen billing system.
Additionally, you will be responsible for answering incoming patient calls through a designated extension line, reviewing and listening to voicemails on the ext. line, and returning patient calls within 24 hours excluding weekends.
To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), be proficient in the English Language both written and verbal, and have minimum one-year experience in medical billing and patient responsibility.
