We are currently seeking an Patient Financial Support Specialist to join our healthcare team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring patients are informed about their financial responsibilities prior to appointments and that all financial communications are accurately documented in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.

Position Details
  • Job Type: Full-Time
  • Work Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM CDT
  • Work Days: Monday – Friday
Responsibilities
  • Proactively reach out to patients to review co-pays, balances, and payment options.
  • Provide clear explanations of billing statements and assist with setting up payment plans when needed.
  • Accurately document all patient interactions, financial discussions, and related information in the EHR system to maintain a clear and consistent record.
  • Collaborate with intake, clinical, and billing teams to ensure accurate information flow.
  • Evaluate complex patient or insurance issues for resolution.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Prior experience in medical billing, insurance verification, or healthcare accounts receivable.
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
  • Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and time management.
  • Ability to manage sensitive patient information with integrity (HIPAA compliance).
  • Proficient in using billing software, EHR systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
