Key Responsibilities
  • Process investment property loans and serve as the primary point of contact for borrowers.
  • Analyze complex documentation including property valuations, rent rolls, renovation budgets, entity formation documents, and financial statements.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all loan files prior to submission.
  • Proactively identify potential issues early in the process and develop effective solutions.
  • Calculate key metrics with precision, including debt service coverage ratios, loan-to-value ratios, and after-repair-value calculations.
  • Coordinate vendor deliverables and manage third-party reports.
  • Prepare comprehensive loan packages for underwriting submission.
  • Address underwriting conditions promptly with thorough research and problem-solving approaches.
  • Coordinate closing logistics with lenders, title companies, attorneys, and borrowers.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in loan processing, preferably in investment property or private money lending.
  • Strong understanding of real estate investment terminology, loan structures, title commitments, and entity structures.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy with proven ability to catch errors before submission.
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset with ability to anticipate issues and develop solutions independently.
  • Technical proficiency with CRMs, Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, and loan processing software.
  • Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously while maintaining 100% accuracy and quality standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer service orientation.
  • Mathematical skills.
  • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
