We are currently seeking a skilled Mortgage Processor to manage investment loans from initial application through closing. As the primary point of contact for borrowers, you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing loan documents, including property valuations and financial statements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process investment property loans from application through closing, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all tasks.
  • Analyze loan documentation, including property valuations, rent rolls, renovation budgets, entity formation documents, and financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Proactively identify potential issues early in the process and develop solutions before they become problems.
  • Calculate key metrics, including DSCR, LTV, and ARV ratios with precision and accuracy.
  • Order and track third-party reports, including appraisals, title, inspections, insurance, and credit reports, and coordinate vendor deliverables.
  • Prepare comprehensive loan packages for underwriting submission, ensuring 100% accuracy and completeness.
  • Address underwriting conditions promptly with thorough research and problem-solving approach.
  • Coordinate closing logistics with lenders, title companies, attorneys, and borrowers.
  • Provide regular status updates and communicate effectively with stakeholders throughout the loan process.
  • Maintain accurate records and pipeline tracking, providing daily status reports to stakeholders as needed.
Requirements
  • 1+ years experience in loan processing, preferably in investment property or private money loans.
  • Strong understanding of real estate terminology, loan structures, title commitments, and entity structures (LLCs, trusts).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with proven ability to catch errors and discrepancies before submission.
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset with ability to anticipate issues and develop solutions independently.
  • Technical proficiency with CRMs, Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, and loan processing software.
  • Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously while maintaining 100% accuracy and quality standards.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with customer service orientation.
  • Mathematical skills, with ability to calculate key metrics accurately.
  • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines and maintain high levels of productivity.
