Project Coordinator Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Project Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely progress and effective communication among stakeholders.

This is a remote position with flexible working hours, allowing you to balance work and personal life.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate pre-construction activities, bid preparation, and project timelines.
  • Track project progress, milestones, and budgets, addressing risks and issues.
  • Manage subcontractors, laborers, and materials to ensure timely progress.
  • Monitor and report on project status, resolving delays or issues.
  • Manage project schedules, scope, and inspections required by authorities.
  • Utilize project management software for task management and reporting.
  • Maintain documentation and facilitate communication among stakeholders.
  • Handle financial aspects such as estimating, change orders, and project closeout.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in construction or project management.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Experience in residential construction, particularly townhouses, single-family homes, and small apartments.
  • Effective communication skills with subcontractors, vendors, and government agencies.
  • Ability to prepare and track project timelines and budgets.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt in a dynamic environment.
  • A team player willing to work in a fast-paced, growing organization.
Ideal Candidate Skills & Experience
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and civil plans.
  • Experience with construction estimating and takeoffs.
