Learning Experience Developer Role

Patra Corporation is a leader in insurance back-office and account management business process outsourcing. The company offers various services designed to reduce costs, minimize risk, and enhance employee productivity by transferring account management and business support functions to operation centers globally.

This role will assist in creating high-quality learning programs for diverse learners in different roles, from onboarding to ongoing capability development. The successful candidate will collaborate with instructional designers and other learning team members to develop and deploy engaging learning content.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply recognized models such as ADDIE and SAM to rapidly design, develop, and publish interactive course content and learning activities for ILT, online, and virtual modalities.
  • Identify the most effective delivery methods to meet learning objectives and adapt instructional materials created for one format to another (e.g., from face-to-face to eLearning).
  • Author training materials using authoring tools like Articulate 360, Vyond, Canva, Patra's Learning Management System, and other common tools.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of adult learning theory and learning technologies, incorporating experiential learning to accelerate development.
  • Develop course content, including graphics, scenarios, job aids, simulations, audio scripts, eLearning courses, and live virtual learning experiences.
  • Demonstrate expertise in all aspects of instructional design, including needs assessment, design, development, implementation, and evaluation, with a proven track record of introducing innovative programs that yield tangible results.

  • Contribute to developing learning standards, templates, and best practices.
  • Create and test prototypes, gather audience feedback, and modify the learning experience to better align with specific needs and intended outcomes.
  • Take initiative to identify problems, evaluate options, and implement solutions.

  • Ensure ownership, follow-through, quality, and timely project management.
  • Partner with LMS administrators and operations stakeholders to maintain learning content and knowledge management repositories.

  • Build trust and relationships with global stakeholders and learning team members.
  • Collaborate with team members and product/program owners to identify expected outcomes and formats for learning experiences.

  • Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal interactions.
  • Flexibility to occasionally adjust working hours to collaborate with team members in other countries.
Requirements
  • At least two years of experience in learning/training/people development, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate, build effective relationships, and influence peers and key stakeholders to achieve results.
  • Experience leveraging adult learning methodologies, learning management systems, eLearning authoring tools (Articulate suite preferred), and MS Office.
  • LMS Administration - Docebo.
  • iRat experience.
Working Conditions
