Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Learning Experience Designer to spearhead the development of engaging learning content.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Needs Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify knowledge and performance gaps, target audience characteristics, and desired learning outcomes.
    • Curriculum Design: Create comprehensive instructional design plans that align with learning objectives, utilizing sound adult learning principles and instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, Gagne's Nine Events).
    • Content Development: Develop interactive learning content including e-learning modules, lesson plans, facilitator guides, participant materials, job aids, videos, simulations, and assessments.
    • Multimedia Integration: Select and integrate appropriate multimedia elements (e.g., video, audio, graphics, animations) to enhance learner engagement.
    • Pilot and Evaluation: Partner with SMEs to pilot learning solutions, collect feedback, and iterate on designs.
    • Project Management: Manage instructional design projects effectively, meet deadlines, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
    • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest instructional design trends, learning technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Educational Technology, or a related field OR completed at least 2 years in college with no back subjects.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning theories and instructional design principles.
  • Proficiency in authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia) and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Experience with Intellum and Evolve is a plus.
  • Experience with video and audio editing tools is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated project management and organizational skills.
