Strategic Operations Leader

Job Description

This leadership role is responsible for overseeing and directing a team of operations managers and/or team leaders. The strategic operations leader must have strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective relationships with clients.

The key responsibilities include coaching and supervising direct reports, developing and implementing employee relation/recognition programs, maintaining client service level agreements, and ensuring operational compliance.

Additionally, this role involves selecting, training, developing, and managing the performance of direct reports and their associates, analyzing and maintaining client service level agreements, and overseeing client relationships.

As a strategic operations leader, you will be responsible for fostering a positive work environment through employee engagement, resolving employee relation issues in a professional and timely manner, and participating in cross-functional meetings to review information received from operational support functions.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree or higher in business administration or a related field;
  • More than 10 years of experience in operations management, with 2-4 years of progressive management experience preferred;
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and improve work processes, establish a course of action for self and others to accomplish specific goals;
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and develop action plans that maximize performance and provide effective feedback;
  • Demonstrated ability to implement change and flexibility to quickly adapt to changing business needs;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; and
  • Proven ability to organize and prioritize projects in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented business environment.
