AP Operations Specialist

The AP Specialist role plays a vital part in maintaining the financial health of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Accounts Payable: Daily process vendor invoices and expenses, verify amounts owed by reviewing purchase orders, statements, and invoices, confirm internal approval of vendor invoices, respond to vendor inquiries, resolve discrepancies in billings and payments, record company credit card expenditures and employee expenses, complete reconciliations.
- Other Tasks: Be reliable, well-organized, task-oriented, work through occasional challenging vendor or customer interactions, maintain financial records in compliance with accepted policies and procedures including document storage for reports and working papers, assist in reconciling multiple bank accounts in different currencies for all corporate accounts as needed, participate in the monthly close process, review and prepare account reconciliations to ensure they accurately reflect the account's balance in a timely manner, assist in preparing and coordinating intercompany transactions, maintain the integrity of accounting and reporting software pertaining to all entities, develop, maintain, and/or review reports to support analysis of income statement and balance sheet accounts upon request, investigate report and correct any inconsistencies and errors identified.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or relevant experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in an Accounting environment.
