Accounts Payable Specialist
Are you a detail-oriented professional with expertise in accounts payable and financial management? We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. As an Acounts Payable Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of payments, maintaining vendor relationships, and enforcing compliance with company policies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and AP best practices, as well as proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks or NetSuite. Additionally, experience in expense management tools and corporate card management is highly desirable. About the Role:

  • We are looking for a seasoned Accounts Payable Specialist to oversee the entire AP cycle, including invoice coding, entry, approval routing, and payment processing.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring invoices are properly approved and processed for timely payment, managing vendor relationships, resolving inquiries, and handling any discrepancies in a professional manner.
  • You will also be responsible for performing monthly reconciliations of AP accounts and maintaining accurate records.


Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
  2. 3+ years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
  3. Strong understanding of accounting principles and AP best practices.
  4. Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar), along with experience in expense management tools (e.g. Ramp).
  5. High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  6. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.


Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience with corporate card management and employee expense reimbursements.
  2. Familiarity with automation tools and a continuous improvement mindset.
  3. Ability to work independently and take ownership of the AP function in a growing organization.
