Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead our financial accounting function and drive business growth.

This is a unique opportunity to work closely with our leadership team in Australia, including our Chief Financial Officer, to provide critical financial insights that drive our business forward.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the financial accounting function: Take full ownership of our end-to-end general ledger processes, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, journal entries, and reconciliations.
  • Oversee key financial activities: Lead monthly project costing, departmental reporting, and manage all R&D tax rebate submissions.
  • Enhance our financial systems: Drive continuous improvement of our financial policies and procedures, ensuring our systems are efficient, accurate, and scalable.
  • Manage external relationships: Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, tax advisors, and consultants, ensuring all financial reporting is accurate and timely.
Qualifications
  • Highly capable and experienced finance professional with a strong background supporting businesses.
  • Bachelor degree in commerce and/or accounting and Certified Practising Accountant qualification (or equivalent).
  • Existing Finance Manager with 10+ years experience supporting a business.
  • Strong working knowledge of relevant legislation.
  • Proven experience managing teams and building relationships with stakeholders across a business.
  • Experience/comfortable working in a fast-moving environment.

You will collaborate to deliver secure and professional cloud services to a broad range of users.
