Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business unit leaders to understand their strategic goals and objectives.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making processes.
- Assist in developing financial plans and forecasts aligned with business unit strategies.
- Analyze financial performance, trends, and key metrics to identify areas of improvement or concern.
- Prepare and present financial reports, variance analysis, and ad-hoc financial analysis to business partners and senior management.
- Provide actionable recommendations based on financial insights to drive business performance.
- Work closely with business units to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor actual performance against budget and forecast, identifying variances and potential risks or opportunities.
- Provide guidance and support to business partners in managing their budgets effectively.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business unit leaders, providing financial guidance and support for decision-making.
- Evaluate business cases, investment proposals, and strategic initiatives from a financial perspective.
- Conduct cost-benefit analysis and scenario modeling to assess the financial impact of various decisions.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the financial performance of business units.
- Monitor and track KPIs, providing regular updates and insights to business partners.
- Collaborate with business units to develop action plans to address performance gaps and drive improvement.
- Partner with other functional areas such as sales, marketing, operations, and HR to understand their financial needs and challenges.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between finance and other departments to ensure alignment of goals and priorities.
- Serve as a liaison between finance and business units, advocating for financial best practices and policies.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance financial reporting capabilities.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in finance and business analysis.
- Implement initiatives to drive continuous improvement in financial planning, analysis, and decision support.
Candidate Qualifications

- BCom or equivalent financial degree
- Professional qualification (CPA)
- Minimum 5 years' experience post training
- Experience in systems and procedures
- Logical, systematic approach to understanding and improving processes
- Ability to understand, interpret and report on all financial areas
- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable with constant change
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and make strategic recommendations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strategic mindset with a focus on driving business growth and profitability.
- Demonstrated leadership and management capabilities.
Conditions of Employment
- Must be authorized to work in the country where the job is based.
