Virtual Research Assistant - PR Data Specialist

The Virtual Research Assistant will play a pivotal role in supporting the Public Relations team by conducting comprehensive research and data collection for digital campaigns.

This is a fully remote opportunity offering flexible hours and a consistent workload at a competitive rate. As a Virtual Research Assistant, you will work directly with the Head of PR to gather crucial data that fuels outreach and media campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and compile lists of journalists, bloggers, influencers, and media outlets
  • Gather data from various sources including websites, social platforms, and third-party tools
  • Scrape information from search engines and databases
  • Identify relevant statistics and supporting evidence for PR campaigns
  • Assist with ad-hoc research tasks such as trend analysis and contact verification
  • Maintain organized records and deliver clean, accurate data to the PR team

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in virtual assistance, research, or data entry
  • Basic familiarity with data scraping tools or techniques
  • Experience with media list building or journalist databases
  • Strong written and spoken English
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets, Excel, and web-based tools
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Clear communication skills and ability to follow direction
