A reputable organisation is seeking a highly skilled Key Accountant to provide support to its growing finance team. This role entails delivering administrative and accounting services to ensure smooth financial operations.

Job Responsibilities
  • Finance & Accounting Support
    • Offer day-to-day accounting and administrative assistance to the Head of Finance
    • Assist with monthly management reports, including analysis and commentary
    • Support the offshore team with supplier invoice processing and reconciliations
    • Maintain and monitor the fixed asset register
    • Assist with journal entries to guarantee financial record accuracy
    • Prepare and journal weekly payroll
  • Month-End & Year-End Support
    • Assist the offshore team in month-end and year-end close processes
    • Prepare supporting reconciliations and documentation
    • Assist in producing management accounts for the leadership team
  • Reporting & Analysis
    • Help prepare clear, concise, and meaningful financial reports to support decision-making
  • Administrative Support
    • Manage the finance inbox and respond to queries in a timely manner
    • Handle supplier setup and process local invoice payments
    • Process sales reimbursements and company expense claims
    • Maintain vehicle compliance requirements
    • Update daily cashbooks to ensure accurate cash flow records
  • Ad Hoc Support
    • Provide additional assistance on finance projects and other administrative tasks as required
