Job Title: Chief Financial Officer SpecialistWe are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to fill a key role in our accounting department. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial activities of multiple portfolio companies and serving as a consultant to the management team.Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the month-end close process for several companies, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Record and reconcile bank transactions, identifying any discrepancies or anomalies.
  • Prepare general ledger entries and maintain accurate records, adhering to established accounting principles.
  • Assist with monthly general ledger reconciliations and develop new accounting systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Contribute to research on technical accounting issues and assist with annual audit preparations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is required.
  • A Master's degree and/or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification are highly preferred.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in accounting is necessary.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and knowledge of accounting principles are essential.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team is crucial.
