Investment Banking Associate Role

Elevate-and-delegate is seeking a skilled Investment Banking Associate to support deal execution across M&A and capital markets. This role offers hands-on experience with seasoned professionals, leadership opportunities, and a collaborative culture that values work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough market research, including competitor analysis and industry research, to create valuable insights into niche subject areas.
  • Lead complex financial modeling and valuation analyses, taking raw financial data from clients and creating transaction structuring, working capital pegs, and LBO models.
  • Develop high-quality client-facing materials for M&A and capital markets transactions, including strategic presentations and confidential information memorandums.
  • Collaborate with senior team members and clients to execute transactions and assess strategic alternatives.
  • Manage execution processes, ensuring seamless transaction workflows and delivering exceptional results.
  • Contribute to recruiting and firm-building initiatives.
Requirements:
  • 1–2 years of experience in investment banking or comparable roles (top-tier consulting or sell-side equity research will be considered).
  • Strong academic credentials preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and advanced financial modeling, including LBO, 3-statement modeling, and detailed business plan forecasting.
  • Able to adapt quickly, utilize new tools, and find creative solutions to enhance efficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage effectively with senior professionals, clients, and key stakeholders.
  • Highly driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can operate with a high degree of independence.
  • Ability to work directly with clients, communicate with them, and provide services independently.
