Key Responsibilities

As IT Head, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Strategic Planning & Stakeholder Engagement

Collaborate with stakeholders to align IT strategies with business objectives.

Develop and implement comprehensive IT plans to support organizational growth.

2. Leadership

Lead, mentor, and manage IT teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.

Effectively manage stakeholder relationships and delivery expectations.

Be directly involved in operational and project delivery tasks.

3. Technology & Innovation

Manage IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and governance to ensure seamless operations.

Identify and implement innovative technologies to enhance business capabilities and productivity.

4. Budgeting & Procurement

Manage IT budgets, optimize resource allocation, and ensure cost-effective solutions.

Adhere to procurement policies and ensure compliance with organizational standards.

5. Governance

Ensure IT compliance, risk identification, and mitigation.

Prepare for and manage audit reviews, including pre-audit preparations and post-audit remediations.

Work with Group stakeholders to ensure compliance and alignment with policies and processes.

6. Vendor Management

Negotiate contracts, manage vendor relationships, and enforce service level agreements.

Work with the Procurement team to ensure the organization gets the best value from vendor engagements.

7. Project Management

Oversee IT projects by providing technical guidance, ensuring quality standards, and driving timely delivery.

Qualifications

  • A College or Postgraduate Diploma, Bachelor, or Professional Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • A minimum of 5 years of IT experience in the banking and/or investment banking industry, including at least 3 years in a managerial or project coordination role.

Technical Skills

  • Hands-on experience in project implementation and management.
  • Strong familiarity with investment banking technologies and systems.
  • Proficiency in network and server management.
  • Additional relevant experience will be an advantage.
