Job Role Summary

The Vessel Operations Specialist plays a pivotal role in meeting the operational requirements of our organization. This includes maintaining effective communication to ensure service integrity and efficient terminal productivity management.

Main Responsibilities
  • Coordinates vessel operations to achieve assigned tasks efficiently.
  • Handles internal and external inquiries, fostering open communication channels.
  • Maintains permits with PPA and Marina, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Provides accurate discharging lists and DG manifests to the terminal office.
  • Processes recoverable charges, promoting financial transparency.
  • Collaborates with port operators to coordinate container-related requests from M&C.
  • Makes recommendations for process improvements within their scope, driving efficiency.
  • Performs other functions assigned by immediate superiors as needed.
Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Customs Administration or a related field.
  • At least two years of experience in shipping/logistics/transportation.
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
  • Highly computer literate.
