Job Position: Logistics Supervisor

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Description:

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Logistics Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the day-to-day logistics operations of the company. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of supervisory or logistics-related experience, with strong organizational and leadership skills to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise logistics operations including scheduling, dispatching, routing, and tracking of deliveries
  • Monitor and manage inventory movement, warehousing, and distribution
  • Coordinate with suppliers, drivers, and internal departments to ensure efficient flow of materials
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of items to customers or job sites
  • Maintain records of incoming and outgoing shipments, delivery receipts, and inventory reports
  • Monitor fleet operations and ensure vehicles are well-maintained and compliant with regulations
  • Resolve delivery delays, shipping issues, or logistical concerns quickly and efficiently
  • Implement and improve logistics procedures to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Enforce safety procedures and company policies among logistics personnel
  • Prepare and submit daily/weekly logistics and inventory reports to management

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • At least 1 year of experience in logistics or warehouse operations (preferably in a supervisory role)
  • Knowledgeable in inventory management, delivery routing, and warehouse procedures
  • Strong leadership and coordination skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel); experience with logistics software is a plus
  • Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision
  • Must be organized, punctual, and detail-oriented
