Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Construction Estimator to join our team. As a key member of the project management team, you will play a critical role in reviewing plans, performing takeoffs, and creating detailed estimates of the scope of work for our projects.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Gathering and organizing all available information related to the project.
  • Identifying missing or conflicting scope/detail related to successful constructability of the project.
  • Performing Quantity Takeoffs for all aspects of a commercial construction project, including demolition, asphalt, curb, fine grading, concrete, masonry, steel, framing, doors/hardware, glass storefront, HVAC duct, plumbing, electrical components, and electrical conduit/wire using On-Screen Takeoff or Bluebeam software.
  • Assisting with construction document/plan/spec review, redlining, and requests for information.
  • Digitally taking off quantities using On-Screen Takeoff (OST), Bluebeam, or similar that highlight the scope of work.
  • Estimating components of the scope of work, such as material, labor, and equipment, required to complete the project using Microsoft Excel and existing cost information.

You will also be responsible for building and maintaining rapport and an open line of communication with the entire project management team.
