About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Construction Management with a strong background in fit-out and interior construction projects. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in managing complex, high-end commercial, hospitality, and retail fit-out works. to join our dynamic team at Multi Development And Construction Corporation (MDCC). The ideal candidate will bebe responsible for overseeing the entire construction process—from planning and execution to completion—ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This full-time position is based in Taguig City, Metro Manila, where you will contribute to the strategic direction and successful delivery of our construction projects.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead and manage multiple fit-out construction projects across various stages, from inception to handover.

  • Develop and implement construction strategies, processes, and procedures to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Direct and supervise site teams, project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure coordination and performance.

  • Review project plans, schedules, contracts, and resource requirements; ensure alignment with business objectives.

  • Monitor project budgets, cost control, procurement schedules, and risk mitigation plans.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, local building codes, and environmental standards.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors.

  • Conduct regular site inspections, project meetings, and progress reporting to senior management and stakeholders.

  • Resolve construction issues, design conflicts, and ensure timely decision-making and escalation when needed.

  • Lead performance reviews, training, and mentoring of the construction team to maintain a high level of technical and managerial capability.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

  • Must be a Registered Engineer with a recognized professional body or licensing authority.

  • Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in the construction industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role focused on fit-out projects.

  • Proven track record in delivering high-quality interior fit-out projects for commercial, hospitality, corporate offices, or retail sectors.

  • Deep knowledge of MEP coordination, interior finishes, and construction methodologies specific to fit-out.

  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with multiple concurrent projects.
