Job Title: Human Resources Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled HR Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation programs
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance with hiring procedures
  • Manage employee records, support benefits administration, and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies
  • Maintain and update HR database, personnel files, and other information sources/systems to always ensure accuracy of data
  • Provide administrative support across all HR processes within the business
  • Maintain, improve, and upkeep HR standard operating procedures to improve efficiency in work processes that translate into improving employee experience
  • Participate in special projects related to the HR Operations team
  • Support performance evaluations, identify training needs, and assist in developing and coordinating employee development programs
  • Support HR projects, policy development, and process improvements while preparing reports and presentations on HR metrics

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology or Behavioral Science preferred
  • Minimum 2 – 3 years of HR experience required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Acrobat, and experience working on simple reporting and working with Excel advantageous
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices
  • Understanding of payroll, benefits programs, and compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Attention to detail, process-driven, proactive problem-solver, strong project management skills
  • Strong service orientation with a proactive, can-do attitude, collaborative spirit
  • Candidate must be amenable to work on-site and graveyard schedule following CST/EST Timezone
