Learning and Development HeadThis position plays a pivotal role in driving organizational growth through strategic talent development and performance enhancement initiatives.
The job holder is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating corporate learning programs that cater to the diverse needs of employees across various levels. This includes managing the entire training cycle from needs assessment to post-review evaluation, ensuring seamless integration with existing HR systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing comprehensive training strategies that align with business objectives.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and deliver impactful training programs that drive behavior change and enhance employee skills.
- Evaluating program effectiveness and making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Managing budgets and resources to optimize training ROI.
- Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
For this role, we seek an experienced professional with a strong background in learning and development, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in behavioral science or a related field and at least 8 years of solid experience in a similar capacity. A proven track record of successfully managing training cycles, budgets, and performance management processes is essential.
Required qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree in behavioral science or a related discipline.
- At least 8 years of solid experience as a training head/manager, preferably in a financial institution or a related sector.
- Hands-on experience automating performance management manual processes and incorporating them into HRIS systems.
- Proven experience in policy making, business partnering/account management, project management, MID & analytics, and process improvement.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience in other HR functions such as employee engagement, talent acquisition, compensation & benefits, and organizational development.
- At least 5 years of experience in managing teams or work groups.
- Above-average facilitation skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, concise and clear speech, no glaring grammatical errors.
- Certification from SGV-DDI, Ateneo CLCI, or other known training institutions in developing, facilitating, and evaluating training programs is an advantage.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with other software application packages such as MS Access, MS Visio or MS Project is an advantage.
