Job Summary
The Head of Training and Development is responsible for spearheading the design, development, and delivery of all training and development programs. This role is crucial for enhancing employee capabilities, improving performance, and ensuring that all training initiatives are strategically aligned with and directly support the organization's business objectives and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Development & Delivery: Lead the creation and implementation of a comprehensive training curriculum, including programs for technical skills, leadership development, sales, and compliance.
- Strategic Alignment: Ensure that all training initiatives are directly linked to business goals to drive organizational growth and improve company-wide performance.
- Performance Measurement: Establish and track key metrics and Key Result Areas (KRAs) to evaluate the effectiveness and return on investment (ROI) of all training programs.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in training and development, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or management role.
Skills:
Proven expertise in designing and implementing successful training programs.
- Strong leadership and people management abilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other e-learning tools.
- Demonstrated ability to use data and metrics to measure training effectiveness.
