As a Dental Claims Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our clients. You will be responsible for managing and processing claims, resolving issues, and providing support while upholding quality and integrity standards.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Follow-up on outstanding insurance claims, ensuring all follow-ups are properly documented and communicated.
  • Send out claims and attachments to insurance companies.
  • Determine denial validity and address them accordingly.
  • Generate reports and ensure monthly completion.
  • Claim resubmission and reprocessing, including grievances and appeals.
  • Clear rejected claims on a weekly basis.
  • Update the office tracker with all payments posted and check for addressed rejected claims.
  • Complete assigned follow-ups.
  • Generate electronic funds transfer reports and retrieve electronic remittance advices from insurance portals for posting.
  • Post insurance payments according to preference, upload electronic remittance advices, and apply adjustments or corrections as needed.
  • Identify insurance process updates and communicate findings with the team.
Requirements:
  • A strong command of verbal and written English and interpersonal skills.
  • A background in dental insurance or collections industries.
  • Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in collections.
  • Motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as this is a remote position.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and follow-up skills.
