As a Dental Claims Professional, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service to our customers. Your primary responsibility will be managing and processing claims, resolving issues, and providing timely support while maintaining high standards of quality and integrity.

 

  • Follow-up on outstanding insurance claims, ensuring all follow-ups are properly documented and communicated by adding notations to the patient's account using the track stat and commlog.
  • Prepare and send claims along with necessary attachments to insurance providers.
  • Determine denial validity and address them accordingly.
  • Generate OI reports and ensure their completion on a monthly basis.
  • Handle claim resubmission and reprocessing, including grievance and appeals procedures.
  • Clear rejected claims on a weekly basis.
  • Update the office tracker to include all payments posted, such as check scans and EFTs, and verify that all rejected claims have been addressed.
  • Complete all assigned follow-ups on the office spreadsheets.
  • Generate EFT reports and retrieve EOBs from insurance portals for accurate posting.
  • Post insurance payments according to office preference, always uploading EOBs and applying adjustments/corrections as needed.
  • Identify any insurance process updates or issues and communicate your findings with the team while working with open insurances.
  • Maintain professionalism at all times, adhering to work ethics and respecting the work schedule.
  • Achieve desired goals and complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively with managers in the absence of attendance issues.
Requirements
  • Strong command of verbal and written English, along with excellent interpersonal skills, minimal accent when speaking.
  • Background in the Dental insurance or collections industries is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on collections experience is required.
  • Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Outstanding organizational, time management, and follow-up skills are essential.
