Job Title:
Medical Record Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to fill the role of Medical Record Specialist. In this position, you will be responsible for accurately documenting patient medical history, symptoms, previous diagnoses, and other pertinent health background.

You will also document physician's or healthcare provider's findings, follow-up instructions, and prescribed treatments. Additionally, you will transcribe verbal orders and medical dictation related to patient orders like laboratory tests and medications.

Your primary goal will be to create and maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHRs) and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

To succeed in this role, you must have excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal. You should also have a solid understanding of medical terminology and practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in a medical field or pharmaceutical-related industry.
  2. At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Virtual Assistant, Medical Documentation, or related field.
  3. Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  4. Solid understanding of medical terminologies and practices.
  5. Proficient in EHR/EMR systems and ability to troubleshoot common technical issues.
  6. Understanding of healthcare privacy regulations.
  7. Solid organizational & time management skills with keen attention to detail.

Schedule and Location:

US work hours (20-40 hours per week). This is a remote job.
