Expert Workday Benefits Consultant

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the Workday HCM product suite, with a strong focus on U.S. Benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver strategic support to clients' Workday technology by providing innovative ideas and effective solutions.
  • Lead the deployment team or coach others to successfully gather and document client business requirements, design and configure the Workday solution, demonstrate configurations through prototype systems, assist in testing the Workday solution, and complete knowledge transfer to clients.
  • Collaborate with confidential data conversion teams to help convert legacy data into Workday.
  • Assist integration consulting teams in configuring and testing integrations between Workday and other third-party or custom solutions.
  • Mentor new consultants and serve as a professional role model, coaching others on product knowledge.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, collaborate effectively, and facilitate intellectual and practical adoption of Workday best practices among clients.
  • Provide regular status reports to project managers, highlighting risks to project health and improvements in client adoption.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Current Workday Benefits Certification.
  • 4+ years configuring and implementing HCM/Benefits Solutions.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Previous consulting experience with a software company.
  • Experience deploying Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, ADP, Ultimate, or similar applications.
  • Demonstrated project management experience.
  • Functional experience in HCM/Benefits areas.
  • Passion for providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to manage against timelines and goals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Business analysis and requirements gathering abilities.
  • Ability to learn technology quickly.
  • Expected travel is +/-20% depending on project.
