Job Description

The Strategic Procurement Expert plays a pivotal role in unlocking high-value opportunities across major procurement categories. This role focuses on developing and executing sourcing strategies, expanding the vendor network, and driving negotiations to enable business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Research & Vendor Intelligence: Conduct market research to identify alternative supplier options, benchmark pricing, and evaluate sourcing opportunities that improve cost and service.
  • On-Demand Sourcing: Take ownership of sourcing activities as needed, including identifying new suppliers, studying material specs, requesting quotations, and leading negotiations to ensure continuity and cost-efficiency.
  • Material Forecasting & Planning: Collaborate with internal teams to forecast material requirements and enable proactive procurement planning to support warehouse and operational needs.
  • Reordering Governance: Oversee re-order volumes raised by warehouse material requirement planners to ensure alignment with procurement SLAs and cost optimization practices.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need excellent analytical and negotiation skills, as well as strong communication and collaboration abilities. Experience in procurement or a related field is highly desirable.
