We seek an experienced specialist with knowledge of proposal management principles and best practices. This role will collaborate with our sales team and proposal managers to develop winning proposals that meet client objectives. Key responsibilities include reviewing RFPs, capturing win themes, creating proposal plans and templates, and collaborating with technology partners on content creation. The specialist will also review proposals for grammar, punctuation, and consistency in style and formatting.

The ideal candidate will utilize existing materials, manage new content in Responsive, and moderate SME input to ensure content is "on brand" and client-centric. This role requires understanding client challenges and goals outlined in RFx documents and seller opportunity plans, ensuring the team addresses these items in the response.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple proposals simultaneously, ensuring clear, accurate, and strategically positioned submissions.
  • Draft, review, and edit proposal responses, executive summaries, and supporting materials, focusing on client needs, persuasiveness, and brand standards.
  • Conduct thorough reviews for accuracy, compliance, and clarity, with attention to detail incorporating feedback from internal stakeholders.
  • Manage existing and moderate new content in Responsive in collaboration with various SMEs and departments.
  • Oversee proposal timelines, tasks, and deliverables, ensuring timely submission while balancing concurrent deadlines.
Key Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in proposal development.
  • Strong background developing win strategies, proposal plans, and key deliverables for successful proposals.
  • APMP certification or experience with APMP, Shipley, and/or similar methodologies.
  • Familiarity with proposal software (e.g., Responsive or equivalent) for content management and workflow automation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with Microsoft Dynamics CRM experience preferred.
  • Experience working on remote teams and proven writing, editing, and proofing skills.
