Senior VoIP Systems Administrator Role

This senior-level position is for a skilled VoIP systems administrator who can design, implement and manage robust and scalable VoIP solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Implement VoIP Solutions: Utilize SIP and RTP protocols to develop and deploy scalable and secure VoIP platforms.
  • Configure and Manage Infrastructure: Set up and maintain SBCs, proxies, WAFs, load balancers, feature servers, class 4 and 5 platforms, and other related software.
  • Troubleshoot Complex Signaling Issues: Resolve complex signaling issues, optimize call handling, and manage flow management for efficient voice communications.
  • Ensure Compliance: Develop and maintain compliance with ISO 27001, SOC2, HIPAA, and PCI standards and certification requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least three years of senior-level Linux Systems Administration experience across multiple core Linux distributions.
  • Advanced shell scripting abilities for automation purposes.
  • Hands-on experience with BigCouch/CouchDB, MySQL databases, and other relevant technologies.
  • Understanding of LAMP software stack and Docker containers.
  • Experience operating within KVM, Hyper-V, VMware, AWS, and Rackspace cloud VMs.
  • Expertise in building, managing, configuring, and maintaining development, lab, pre-production, and production Linux servers.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of designing, implementing, and managing large-scale VoIP systems.
  • Strong understanding of SIP and RTP protocols, as well as VoIP infrastructure components.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.
